I'm seeing this problem with X2Go Client V. 4.0.1.1 on 10.9 and x2goserver from the stable PPA. It reports versions of:

x2goagent: 3.5.0.21
x2goserver: 4.0.1.6
x2goserver-extensions: 4.0.1.6
x2goserver-xsession: 4.0.1.6

I'm happy to try troubleshooting updates.
