Message #5 received at submit@bugs.x2go.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Package: x2goclient
Version: 4.0.5.0
When copy/paste text with Euro character "€" from Linux to Windows, the Euro character is replaced with this text : \u20ac
On the contrary, copy/paste text with €uro character from Windows to Linux works correctly.
How to reproduce :
- Local : Windows 7 Pro SP1 amd64 + X2Go client 4.0.5.0
- Remote : Ubuntu Mate 14.04 + X2Go server 4.0.5.0
1. run Pluma or any text editor within X2Go in Published Applications or MATE Desktop mode
2. run Wordpad or any text editor on Windows
3. write some text with the "€" character within Linux then ctrl+c it.
4. paste it on Windows, the "€" character is replaced with this text : \u20ac
Best regards,
Walid Moghrabi
