The issue has been fixed with x2goserver release 3.1.1.9. The issue  
was not in x2godesktopsharing so reassigning this bug to x2goserver.

When I connect to desktop, I get an error:
"Loop: PANIC! Error in environment option 'cookie'. No value found.
Error: Error in environment option 'cookie'. No value found."

In the session of the user I get a notification of a successful
connection to the desktop. Desktop does not boot.
