Did you try any newer versions? Can you try them?
I'm currently using "X2Go Client V. 4.0.0.3 (Qt - 4.8.1)", some weeks
before i've used 4.0.0.1. And neither of them reproduced this bug.

Look at http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/releases/
, although 3.99.0.0 is at the top, there are plenty of newer builds.
