Package: x2goclient

Version: 4.1.2.1 (Qt - 4.8.7)

Platform server: Ubuntu-Mate 18.04 LTS

Platform client: Ubuntu-Mare 18.04 LTS

Since some time whenever I try to connect to the X2Go server I get an
error saying that the client cannot create the remote ssh key file (see
subject where xxxxxx represents a random part which is generated with
every new connection. Still the client starts and I can access my server
session. Looking at the remote home dir the directory .x2go/ssh exists
and is writeable for the user. I checked the directory and it is empty.

Hi!

X2GoClient in Nightly Builds has been updated (quite a while ago) to
deal with the changes in libssh; Initial feedback from testers looks
good; Fix will be in the next release - which is delayed as some more
things need to go into that.

Please also note that the official Ubuntu package of X2Go Client [1]
has received / or should have received an SRU upload [2] recently and
it should be available in stock Ubuntu (hopefully) very soon.

Greets,
Mike

The version officially distributed in Ubuntu 18.04 bionic is still
4.1.1.1 while I already have 4.1.2.1 from the x2go ppa. By when will the
fix be available in the ppa?

Cheers,

Ulrich
