Subject: Previously closed windows minimize when reopening on MS Windows with recent Qt apps
Date: Wed, 5 Feb 2025 14:33:14 +0000
Package: x2goclient
Version: 4.1.2.2

Hello,

When running a single application that opens multiple minimizable windows (Cadence Virtuoso on a RHEL server in our case), closing then reopening any window causes it to instantly minimize. This only happens when using the MS Windows version of x2goclient, Linux operating systems and other remote access methods do not have this problem.

This problem appeared when Cadence was updated from IC6.1.8 to IC23.1, which uses a newer version of Qt. Compiling x2goclient 4.1.2.4 with Qt5 does not fix the problem on Windows.

Best regards,
Loris
