Message #5 received at submit@bugs.x2go.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Package: x2goclient
Version: 4.0.5.2-1.fc25
when i connect to a remote server (digitalocean - fedora 25 - 64 bit) that i am renting, using x2goclient (the server runs x2goserver), the client crashes with no error message.
if i run the client from the terminal and the program crashes, i see nothing other than: segmentation fault
i can successfully use x2goclient to connect to a different server that i also use, which is running fedora 23 - although i did need to make significant changes to the security services on the server to get x2go to connect - i think this is something to do with the server using openVZ.
the server that i cannot connect to does not use openVZ and is using KVM. i have spoken with the support team at digitalocean but they offered no insights into how to resolve this.
I am using Fedora 25 workstation - x86_64, kernel 4.9.3-200

Message #10 received at 1138@bugs.x2go.org (full text, mbox, reply):
update: i have now connected to the server successfully. to do this i
needed to remove the explicit path to an SSH key that i had added in the
configuration for the connection to the server in x2goclient.
instead of detecting a problem with the key, the software just crashed.

So this is a duplicate of Bug #951:
http://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=951
Let's see if I manage to get the merge command right this time.
