I can connect to different servers, work with it, but as soon as I disconne= ct a session, the client won't access any key inputs. I can still click= with the mouse and get reactions like opening the settings dialog, I can e= ven enter text in the settings dialog, but I cannot log in anymore as I can= not enter a password (or change my username).
This happens on different Macs, all using the latest Version of OS X 10.8 (= one tested with 10.8.3).

Again I would like to point out that my company, BAUR-ITCS UG, is offering free ssh (and tunneled VNC) access to a Mac Mini for X2Go-Dev purposes. It doesn't run the latest Version of OS X, but 10.6 and 10.7 are available (dual-boot). The machine was rented out to Mike previously, but he didn't get around to work on it during the time it was there, so it's back in our premises. If any of the core devs wants to place it in a central X2Go colocation space, where all devs can access it and test-drive it against various virtual X2Go server installations, we're open to that option. At the time I had your Mac at my office, I was mainly working on Python X2Go and the focus at that time was to get the Windows version working properly. I had a dream of a Mac port of PyHoca-GUI / Python X2Go, but the focus had to be put on something else at that time. Also: I am not an enthusiastic Mac user. So the Mac OS X2Go Client is far from being of personal interest with me. Working on bug fixes would be more about working on the project's reputation. It would be more authentic if one of the people really enthusiastic about Mac OS would start working on patches. @Stefan: Let's give it a try via VNC+SSH, but my feeling is that real hardware (optimal: a notebook that can be shoved under the table) might support bug fixing tremendously. Please send me login information. If you want to have a queue from me, please request it from me privately. If anyone else is interested (Stephan Diehl? John A. Sullivan III? Clemens Lang?), please let me know and send me your SSH public key off-list. This Mac currently supports OS X 10.6 and OS X 10.7, and by default boots into 10.6 (as 10.7 has a known bug with VNC when connecting with non-Mac VNC clients). -Stefan From neverpanic@gmail.com Wed Jul 24 14:51:56 2013 Received: (at 260) by bugs.x2go.org; 24 Jul 2013 12:51:57 +0000 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.3.2 (2011-06-06) on ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=0.0 required=5.0 tests=FREEMAIL_FROM,T_DKIM_INVALID autolearn=ham version=3.3.2 Received: from mail-ea0-f177.google.com (mail-ea0-f177.google.com [209.85.215.177]) by ymir (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 6F8A95DB15 for <260@bugs.x2go.org>; Wed, 24 Jul 2013 14:51:56 +0200 (CEST) Received: by mail-ea0-f177.google.com with SMTP id f15so220881eak.22 for <260@bugs.x2go.org>; Wed, 24 Jul 2013 05:51:56 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=date:from:to:subject:message-id:references:mime-version :content-type:content-disposition:content-transfer-encoding :in-reply-to:user-agent; bh=Gn8e6Ny335A3c8vI1bMre43e5C/uBroa6VKCVqfMsYM=; b=i0GW1ttWzNeh7ZnI9KrPMGQqW5A047AFeeCU/c3JlRYDd016YajbMGbctsp+6RfPla 4OWlJpwjBy53bUKLdVUSryOnm0VkVB7tvXrhEbIBo/BbMaYIXfCfNLVlkKjNnITK+ze7 kzksT/HCxh4DQQkEWoAWSn343hk2yz9+5yDgtigdf6yCtCfjekSen4zFhSE+GLlzEJtN Ktvb2gXYFGtTWwSx1HIRCy++2a8hR5+X4Jg9aI3oWMGYXhfMhwd0QHFxOvJr+O6O2Ds1 InLQqVckcnyjrTBA/GZjbl35uAFtPf1VD3vGhDK5EVCcobRDxsaPbxH9Bu5io0Vvmqz0 jxQg== X-Received: by 10.14.115.9 with SMTP id d9mr37606505eeh.87.1374670316161; Wed, 24 Jul 2013 05:51:56 -0700 (PDT) Received: from towel.neverpanic.de ([2001:4d88:1017:67a6:1d8a:4907:49d3:99a8]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPSA id i2sm65962437eeu.4.2013.07.24.05.51.54 for (version=TLSv1.2 cipher=RC4-SHA bits=128/128); Wed, 24 Jul 2013 05:51:54 -0700 (PDT) Date: Wed, 24 Jul 2013 14:51:52 +0200 From: Clemens Lang To: Stefan Baur , 260@bugs.x2go.org Subject: Re: [X2Go-Dev] Mac client not accepting input after disconnect Message-ID: <20130724125152.GO4031@towel.neverpanic.de> References: <20130719185315.83034z3e3kw061vf@mail.das-netzwerkteam.de> <51ED0FEB.3000806@stefanbaur.de> <20130723131231.20854eqmh5ogb6e7@mail.das-netzwerkteam.de> <51EFA542.1010506@stefanbaur.de> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit In-Reply-To: <51EFA542.1010506@stefanbaur.de> User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.21 (2010-09-15) On Wed, Jul 24, 2013 at 11:58:26AM +0200, Stefan Baur wrote: > Clemens Lang?
