This will work, you can resume the session but the display is completely broken : no desktop, no decorations, corrupted display and no widget to logoff so you're stuck there unless someone kills your session from the server. It would be better to simply block the ability to resume a Published Apps session in a mode where it just can't be done such as the thinclient mode. Wait a minute - we are running a Display Manager in X2Go-TCE ... in the live edition at least. So Window decorations should be there, just no task bar. Walid - did you change anything in your TCE setup compared to X2Go-TCE-Live, branch "feature/openbox"? What SHOULD happen is that X2GoClient starts up in fullscreen, but any popup it shows (like asking for a keyfile's password, or displaying that there's no route to host) should have window decorations. And I'd assume that the same window manager would put window decorations around PubApp windows once the session resumes. (Of course, it will still be almost unusable, as there's no task bar, no logoff button, and no menu, but I'm surprised to hear that there are no window decorations.) -Stefan --=20 BAUR-ITCS UG (haftungsbeschr=C3=A4nkt) Gesch=C3=A4ftsf=C3=BChrer: Stefan Baur Eichen=C3=A4ckerweg 10, 89081 Ulm | Registergericht Ulm, HRB 724364 Fon/Fax 0731 40 34 66-36/-35 | USt-IdNr.: DE268653243 --W901vAXQ5SWMtrCXMAaeIHqXNNpWdh8Ru-- --GKefisHMCqaMMfavm1hKNNMdWb9xxISOU Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJZyTvGAAoJEG7d9BjNvlEZVm8H/iX4Kpux8Pe9J3UbblVRRUm9 DTDdn+x06QbxpeAMId0b83BSct61LcLjXDdgqj/KeykZvsn51AG0LXDbB3nzrxI+ SsnfduD8iHrvg8GjAAqQbIc2dkOjTx1AXNnWBVexBNJ+/bNamKfqi5s8Ui5twRNN 5k9YXtuqRWtooXkDicLsDriCJkcEez2aNMZvHD3SaYRch03yqtcQiBTOWrBz++L+ QmUM3no4R7o53jY9cc8+iwQYslOcLTfYPVqG23Hp9bI/3OoXat0Z1iuw+xyhfZHh fR9MZHPoP0rXIGb2lisSENrWpx2dt0sg3if+qS0IYqicyQ4ksZVRFoGFl5ENu/4= =nkfV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --GKefisHMCqaMMfavm1hKNNMdWb9xxISOU-- From unknown Thu Mar 28 12:19:57 2024 X-Loop: owner@bugs.x2go.org Subject: Bug#1208: [X2Go-Dev] Bug#1208: Bug#1208: Messed up session when resuming from Published Apps mode to Fullscreen desktop mode in thinclient mode Reply-To: Walid MOGHRABI , 1208@bugs.x2go.org Resent-From: Walid MOGHRABI Resent-To: x2go-dev@lists.x2go.org Resent-CC: X2Go Developers X-Loop: owner@bugs.x2go.org Resent-Date: Tue, 26 Sep 2017 11:00:02 +0000 Resent-Message-ID: Resent-Sender: owner@bugs.x2go.org X-X2Go-PR-Message: followup 1208 X-X2Go-PR-Package: x2gothinclient X-X2Go-PR-Keywords: Received: via spool by 1208-submit@bugs.x2go.org id=B1208.150642353216769 (code B ref 1208); Tue, 26 Sep 2017 11:00:02 +0000 Received: (at 1208) by bugs.x2go.org; 26 Sep 2017 10:58:52 +0000 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.4.1 (2015-04-28) on ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.0 required=3.0 tests=BAYES_00,DKIM_SIGNED, DKIM_VALID,DKIM_VALID_AU,MIME_QP_LONG_LINE,URIBL_BLOCKED autolearn=ham autolearn_force=no version=3.4.1 Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de (Postfix) with ESMTP id F3F4A5DACF for <1208@bugs.x2go.org>; Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:47 +0200 (CEST) X-Virus-Scanned: Debian amavisd-new at ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de Received: from ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id gPmxX0pwgWN8 for <1208@bugs.x2go.org>; Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:43 +0200 (CEST) Received: from zm-01.servicemagic.eu (zm-01.servicemagic.eu [176.31.236.17]) by ymir.das-netzwerkteam.de (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 1FD815DA81 for <1208@bugs.x2go.org>; Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:43 +0200 (CEST) Received: from localhost (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by zm-01.servicemagic.eu (Postfix) with ESMTP id B9EAC8148CFA4; Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:41 +0200 (CEST) DKIM-Filter: OpenDKIM Filter v2.11.0 zm-01.servicemagic.eu B9EAC8148CFA4 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=servicemagic.eu; s=frmailing; t=1506423521; bh=/wes7Gd42euPG+YMLZv/szB1kxNVsPCZ8Nw/g9Qp1hc=; h=Date:From:To:Cc:In-Reply-To:Subject:From; b=PPbBu4OOUTcyC3mwMGMKlS4GFHI+tUxQIzhjJbgzNRVDKOYjHrK1aXuGLkaUzQsqE RYoI8Q2Km3flNUvYnGUcNCuh4D7EMOi2PVdpduHDIEp1nM65PV4wk2YcJnr85MoVpk nPpdMYcz0jDRfv81C52woNXqQkXdUBLXD1ZmqKUo= X-Amavis-Modified: Mail body modified (using disclaimer) - zm-01.servicemagic.eu X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at servicemagic.eu Received: from zm-01.servicemagic.eu ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (zm-01.servicemagic.eu [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id S+eQ7yuEsBGQ; Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:41 +0200 (CEST) Received: from zm-01.servicemagic.eu (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by zm-01.servicemagic.eu (Postfix) with ESMTP id 41C4A81429C82; Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:41 +0200 (CEST) Date: Tue, 26 Sep 2017 12:58:41 +0200 (CEST) From: Walid MOGHRABI To: Stefan Baur Cc: uli42@gmx.de, 1208@bugs.x2go.org Message-ID: <1845982843.9503813.1506423521157.JavaMail.root@servicemagic.eu> In-Reply-To: <99e256a8-7b83-b479-678e-cc0fedda66d0@baur-itcs.de> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Originating-IP: [10.33.100.58] X-Mailer: Zimbra 7.2.0_GA_2669 (ZimbraWebClient - GC61 (Linux)/7.2.0_GA_2669) I don't remember exactly about windows decorations, I'll try again but in a= ny way, the result is just plain unusable so in this specific situation (ak= a. resuming a Published Apps session from a TCE), it would be better to blo= ck the resume and propose to close the session before opening a new one.
