You can do this with the flag -Dsun.java2d.xrender=3Dfalse Simply add this to the /bin/idea.vmoptions and it works. When using IntelliJ this issue can be solved by disa= bling XRender.

You can do this with the flag

 

-Dsun.java2d.xrender=3Dfalse

 

Simply add this to the <IDEA_HOME>/bin/idea.vm= options and it works.
